- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Great little campground to stop.for a couple days. Grounds are well kept and the facilities are clean. The sites are open with very few trees so privacy can be a issue if that's what your looking for. Great playground for the kids and it is currently under construction (summer 2016) as they are putting in a spray park. It is inside the city and adjacent to the highway so it's not a real quiet park but it's not terrible either. A walking path is joined to the park which takes you along side the river. No canteen or cafe but it is 2 blocks from a convenience store and 10-12 blocks to a grocery store. It is a favorite of the locals ...By Ken Helfrick, March 06, 2017
