- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★It has been 30 years since I was last at nickel Lake, I took my 7 year old son to the lake I grew up with on his first camping trip. We tented in a nice treed area, close to all the amenities. The seasonal campers near us were very friendly. My son really liked the mini golf (although in dire need of repair) and play areas and the swings. The price was not unreasonable to camp. The stay brought back a lot of memories for me from when I was his age at the lake. Going back again this summer.By Joe Downing, September 22, 2016
